FUNtastic QRE Festival 2013

The EV Show of FUNtastic QRE Festival 2013 has brought to Wan Chai the new trend in electric transport. (Generation 2), Lexus Hybrid, HHL's first e-coach and electric cars from the Hong Kong Police Force are showcased at the Open Piazza of Hopewell Centre today and tomorrow(16-17 November) from 2 to 6pm.

In addition, a "Battery Rechargeable EV" concept car, which is created by Mr. Lam Ho Tak, a graduate of the School of Creative Media of City University of Hong Kong, will also be exhibited. This compact concept car is tailor-made for the crowded environment in Hong Kong with a removable battery at the back, which can be replaced easily with another pre-charged battery. The battery can actually be charged at different places, other than parking at the parking station.

HHL introduced the first hybrid vehicle to the company's fleet in 2006, and has provided charging stations for electric vehicles and introduced energy management measures at all its properties since 2010. We believe that we must practice what we preach and make corporate sustainability an essential element of our corporate culture".
