What if you can capture your happiest moments in life?
Artworks created by students from schools in the Wanchai district will be showcased during “Happy Lives Happy Faces Art Exhibition”. Memorable collections from students were frozen in crystal gel as mementos, reminiscent of their joyful and carefree childhood. Commercial Radio programme hosts, Mr. Vincent Wong and Ms. Chu Fun, will join the kids on the spot to share their childhood memories and ideas of crafting these mementos. The pop singer Sugar Club will perform live music and amuse you by interactive games of Wanchai historic sites. What’s more, the singing performance by Acappella and dance performance by Hong Kong Funky Dance and Fitness First will further jazz up the show and the festive ambience. Join us at Queen’s Road East, Wanchai and enjoy this festive enchantment!

Art Pieces by Kids Mementos of Happy Lives in Wanchai

The project artist from Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation (HKYAF), the co-organiser, led the students from 4 primary schools and a community unit in Wanchai to create over 200 art pieces with the theme of “Happy Lives Happy Faces”. Each art piece is entirely special and reveals their inner sentiments towards the district.
If you are interested to explore your creativity, please join the workshop provided by HKYAF from 1pm-5pm on 26 & 27 November.

Commercial Radio and “Little Sunshine” – A Collection of Childhood Memories

The supporting organization Commercial Radio gathered a group of children from “Little Sunshine” club to share their memorable collections from their growth, captured in transparent cubical containers as mementos. Their memorable collections are rare and precious, including baby teeth, medals and old photos.
